A nation of over 7000 islands, Indonesia gives me enough reason to find one island exclusively for myself. The country has many sister islands connected to the main island and some of them are only populated by one or two few room resorts. I found one such island around Flores group of Islands.
Known for its prehistoric Komodo dragons, the only airport in the southern tip of Indonesia is Labuan Bajo. There are quite a few direct flights per day and the travel time from Bali is about 45 minutes. Here’s a photo blog of my trip to this distant island, the best way to get lost while on vacation.
